Enhancing driver ed experiences

After receiving a bachelor's and master's degree in education from East Carolina University in North Carolina, Sandra Dunbar went on to teach and coach at elementary and high schools before ending up at Wake Technical Community College. She volunteers for VBS, NC food banks/pantries, Scouts as a leader and merit badge counselor, and 4-H as a leader and master volunteer. She also created a free children's clothes exchange. She became the North Carolina State Fair Handicrafts & Hobbies Superintendent in 2019 (to present) and served as the NC State Fair Folk Festival Superintendent. She was NC State Fair Superintendent of the Year in 2023.
